PIERRE, S.D. (June 25, 2024) – Today, the South Dakota Ethanol Producers Association released the following statement regarding efforts to refer SB 201 to voters on the November ballot:

“Why would South Dakotans scrap property owner protections and punish farmers by repealing the Landowner Bill of Rights?” said Doug Berven, SD Ethanol Executive Director. “The best way to safeguard landowners, ensure sound regulations statewide, and keep South Dakota open for investment is to keep SB 201 in place.”
